Thinking Global launched in 2023 and has built an impressive global reach, attracting listeners from diverse regions through its thought-provoking discussions on international relations. Available on all major platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, TuneIn, and Audible, the podcast ensures accessibility to a broad audience, ranging from students and academics to policymakers and general listeners interested in global affairs. Its success is further solidified by an outstanding lineup of distinguished guests who have shaped contemporary debates in political science and international relations. Among the notable figures featured on the podcast have been Quentin Skinner, a leading historian of political thought; Cynthia Enloe, a pioneer in feminist international relations; Wendy Brown, known for her work on neoliberalism and democracy; Trita Parsi, a true expert on U.S.-Iran relations; Joseph Nye Jr, the conceptual architect of the "soft power"; G John Ikenberry, a leading theorist of liberal internationalism; and so many more. In 2025 it introduced a new series ‘Thinking Borders’, with leading experts on border studies. Kieran O’Meara is the podcast’s Executive Producer and main host, Tusharika Deka is a producer and a host, and Marianna Karakoulaki is Thinking Border’s producer and host.
